RIO COMES TO THE CALIFORNIA COAST

WHAT MORE COULD SAN DIEGANS WANT AS THE WEATHER IS CHANGING AND FALL IS ROLLING IN, BUT AN EVENING TRANSPORTED TO THE LAND OF SUN AND FUN – A JOURNEY TO THE CITY OF RIO DE JANEIRO!
That was the theme selected by Heels2Heal for their 5th Annual Gala, and Pantherella stopped at nothing to deliver the most sun-kissed and vibrant event of the season. With Pantherella’s vision, the stunning La Jolla event space was transformed in bold, bright colors and vibrant decor in a way no one but the Pantherella team could deliver. From Brazilian dancers, to caipirinha-inspired cocktails, the music and pulse of Rio was brought straight to San Diego’s doorstep. And if music and dance weren’t enough, Heels2Heal added a touch of fashion, with world-renowned designer, Nicole Miller, showcasing her colorful Brazil-inspired Spring 2015 Collection, Flying Down to Rio. Miller’s rich, bold pieces graced the sleek runway, against a backdrop Pantherella designed exclusively for the event.
To top it all off, food was provided by not one, but seven of San Diego’s finest restaurants and chefs, all showcasing their favorite dishes from The Hake, Poseidon, Puesto, Whisknladle, La Valencia, Sugar & Scribe, Eva’s Treats, Towne Bakery and The French Gourmet. This delicious feast, the festivities and a live auction (the likes of which the Pantherella team has never before seen) all led to an evening we at Pantherella won’t soon forget.
While the rich entertainment of the evening kept the party going long into the night, few could forget the reason for the evening’s merriment: Heels2Heal’s mission of creating positive change in San Diego. This year, that philanthropic mission was directed at San Diego Youth Services, an organization whose worthy vision of helping youth and families succeed at reaching their highest potential could not go unnoticed.
